South Carolina Legislative Actions for the 2009-2010 Session
What you need to know
May 16th, 2010
Our sad episode of tax inequality this year:

Sponsors: Harrell, Bingham, Cooper, Harrison, Owens, Sandifer, White, Crawford, Bannister, Huggins, Sottile, Spires, Herbkersman, Loftis, Bowen, Erickson, Daning, Hardwick, J.R. As you are probably aware, our good Governor, Mark Sanford, vetoed this bill. Unfortunately, the House and Senate overrode those vetoes. This tax will go into effect on July 1st of this year.
These Are The Guilty - Those who voted yes to override the veto. Remember their names and, given good alternatives this year for the House and in two years for the Senate and House, vote accordingly. See HERE for active House races this year (some of the below are unopposed this year) - Primary on June 8th, General election in November. This info will always be here.
The Guilty in the House, veto override vote of 5/12/2010:
The Guilty in the Senate, veto override vote of 5/13/2010:
