How to get there:
From State 14, turn on Woodruff toward I-385 interchange (toward Greenville), just before third light on your right. Place and sign are easy to miss - right next to a Wendys.
From I-385: exit 35 (right from I-385N, left from I-385S). a few lights, on your left.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday 11:30 AM to 10 PM; Friday & Saturday 11:30 AM to 11 PM
NOTE: I’m not sure if they are still serving lunch or not. I’d call ahead for Lunch.
Experience:
Good food in a great atmosphere - they are a bit pretentious
Details: The food is, indeed, good - though in instances, as is typical with poor dining tastes, they get a little cheese-happy. Some items are bit pricey, though. The atmosphere is of fine dining. Music features the classic vocalists (i.e. Sinatra). The pasta and veal are good. While the shellfish dinner dishes are good, I’ve found it lacking in quantity for the price. Great martinis. The desserts are quite good too.
UPDATE, June 2011: This Travinia location recently “improved” the current menu items and added a few good dishes and desserts - so they have moved up in quality IMHO.
Smoking Accommodation: The spacious bar room includes the large bar, many booths, two four-seater tables and a small couch area. They also allow cigar smoking. This place is definitely smoker-friendly.
