Stereotyped seafood restaurant - Some decent eats

102 East Beacon Drive

Greenville, SC 29615

864-987-0009

How to get there:

Located on “Restaurant Row”; I-85 exit 54 onto Pelham Road (right if from I-85S, left if from I-85N), one to two lights, make a left onto Beacon Drive (chick fil-a on corner). It will be on your right.

Hours of Operation:

Sunday - Thursday, 11 AM to 10 PM; Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 11 PM

Experience: Cliche atmosphere, but okay

Details:

The only low-budget seafood restaurant I know of that we’re welcome at in this area. The atmosphere is tacky, but the food is good. You have the seafood boil pots, the grilled dishes, the fried dishes and some specialties. The crawfish etouffee is a standout gem. Ah, I only wish they had raw oysters.

Smoking Accommodation:

The bar area - at the bar and three four-seater booths. Also, presumably, their large deck that I never see anyone at. My advice, if you want to actually get a booth, is to get there real early (like 4 PM on Friday or Saturday; by 5:30 PM on weekdays) or real late (like past 8 PM weekdays, past 9 or 10 PM Friday and Saturday).
