How to get there:

From I-385 South, Exit 31, then Exit 31A (SC-417/Laurens Road), left at stop light; From I-385 North, Exit 31, right at stop. This road shortly becomes N.E. Main street. Go through one stop light (at intersection with SC-14/Pelham Road). Golden Strip Diner is on right side, within a shopping center called “Carolina Place” - sign is red on top and is obscured by trees.

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM; Saturday 6 AM to 2 PM.

Experience: Gritty but warm diner

Details:

Southern diner charm - gritty but nice. Open for breakfast and lunch.  Menu features typical southern comfort food (meat and three) plus breakfast menu served at all times. Food is good. Not fantastic, but decent enough.

Smoking Accommodation:

Monday through Saturday, NOT Sunday. The small dining room to the right of the front entrance is for smoking - this includes 2 booths and 3 four-seater tables.
